With the launch of our new Savvi Shine beverage, we have updated the Brand Partner Policies & Procedures to include a section regarding product claims. This new policy can be found in section 2.17 of the Policies & Procedures Manual and reads in part: "Independent Brand Partners may not make any claim that Savvi products cure, treat, diagnose, mitigate, or prevent any diseases. Such statements are medical or drug claims. Not only do such claims violate Savvi’s policies and procedures, but they also violate laws and regulations within the United Sates. These laws apply even if the claims are true, and they include inferences or implications of cure or treatment. They apply to direct statements as well as personal stories and experiences because such anecdotes imply a curative or therapeutic use of Savvi products. Violations of these laws not only put Savvi at risk for legal action, but you may also be personally liable for violations of these laws." We also recommend reviewing the "Shine Marketing Dos and Don'ts" document to ensure you understand and avoid improper product claims and practices when promoting Shine.
Section 6 has also been updated with clarifications on policies related to account terminations.
